I could see a bird's-eye-view of the chessboard with my dinosaurs closer and towards the bottom of the screen. I remember when the brachiosaur would advance forward, it'd make a loud roar(?) and stomping noises. For example, pterodactyls could behave like rooks and only move horizontally or vertically while brachiosaurs could only advance one space at a time. They didn't necessarily copy the moves of chess pieces, but some had their own rule. It was basically chess, but with dinosaur species instead of chess pieces and you and the AI opponent would take turns to make moves. I used to play this dinosaur game that was burned onto a CD-ROM (I'm unsure if it was a legit copy) where different dinosaur types behaved like chess pieces.
